Air Conditioning In Australia

home air conditioning?
Hi we lost our air conditioning control, so got another, but it doesn’t work. Do we need to program it or does it have numbers in it where they have to be set, similar to a garage door remote. If not where could we get another from, i’m in QLD Australia, thanks.
If you bought a digital controller then yes, it must be programmed to recognize the system its supposed to control……
If you bought an analog controller then its just a matter of getting it wired correctly…. IF the original installer wired it correctly.

Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls $111.53 The refrigeration load and capacity of the system fluctuates due to input conditions and change in ambient conditions. Since the capacity of the system is designed for maximum load conditions. During half load conditions, the capacity of the system is greater than the requirement. Hence it is necessary to control the capacity of the system to reduce the energy consumption and maintain the required design conditions. Automatic controls make the system to operate independently without skilled supervision and also maintain higher degree of accuracy in maintain the temperatures. The controls used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems are the devices that protect the various components of the system. The controls may be manually operated, electrically operated, electronically operated, pressure operated, temperature operated or pneumatically operated. A Liquid Desiccant Air Conditioning System $129.05 In tropical, hot and humid climates where temperature and humidity level are high, air conditioning (AC) systems are necessary for providing thermal comfort to building occupants. For an air conditioned space that needs outside air ventilation to maintain indoor air quality, the ventilation air can bring sensible heat ratio (SHR) of cooling load well below 0.7 since it accounts for as high as 80 of total latent load in the space. The cooling load SHR below this value cannot be handled effectively by conventional AC systems. Handling sensible and latent load separately using a hybrid scheme is an interesting option. A desiccant system can handle the latent load while a conventional system can handle mainly the sensible load. This could help reduce overall energy consumption and provide effective control of indoor air condition. This book presents a theoretical and experimental investigation of the use of a liquid desiccant (LiCl) AC system in tropical Thailand. The system treated ventilation air before supplying it into a conditioned space. Solar energy was used for the regeneration process. A simulation procedure developed for evaluating the system performance is also presented.
