Online shopping is seriously big business and if it’s something you do a lot of or are starting to get into, you should really know what your consumer rights are.

The same does not apply for unknown websites and those without a reputation, time to read the small print and read into them before you buy.

So, you’ve purchased your washing machine let’s say, from a reputable online store and you’ve had it for two years and it goes wrong, this is not an uncommon scenario these days so we need to be prepared. Long gone are the days where machines and technology were built to last, we live in a largely throwaway culture these days but this is slowly changing. The first thing to do is check the paperwork that came with your washing machine as these will tell you whether you are still covered by any sort of guarantee or warranty.
