my meter & can is part of a ” gang meter ” of three units. currently my major Appliances are not working. i have partial electricity in my home, tv and some fixtures. i was told the electrical Co. is not responsible for this repair. would anyone happen to know what the cost of this electrical work is?

I agree with Gerry R. You have probably lost one leg of the 220V input, either at the meter connection or at the input to your breaker or fuse box. It could be a cartridge fuse or a bad main breaker. One half of your breakers no longer have power and none of your 220V appliances have full voltage.
